squad leader question

There has times i become squad leader. How do i remove myself from the squad leader. Im a terrible leader and right now im more intrested in getting some stuff unlock then leading them to their deaths.

Rotate the squad is about the only way to do so.

The hard part of squad lead is remembering to stay alive if nobody else is. Being an "anchor"

AFAIK You have to leave the squad and rejoin. Seems silly, but the only way I've heard so far.

You had to do the same thing in BF2.

So true. You can only spawn on your squad leader. Your squad leader can spawn on anyone in the squad. Yesterday I parachuted onto a tall building and informed Legion. He spawned on me and the rest of the squad spawned on him. This helped our team cap the flag. With the height we were able to suppress the other team trying to hold the flag.

I love being squad leader, being able to direct where to attack and making a mobile spawn point. Call me a control freak /shrug.

Btw, dont let Phantom be your squad leader. Spawning on him equals instant death. (Plus he never gives attack orders)

I find when I am squad leader sometimes I go off on my own. PLease oh please just ask for attack orders if I am in a different area. Sometimes 2 squadies get a tank and the SQ is ground pounding... dies and can't respawn on them.

I haven't backed out of being squad leader yet, it has its perks, but I don't hope for it. Folks should speak up if they feel the leader isn't pulling it off, I certainly wouldn't mind. Been in a few where the SL was camping the spawn waiting for a heli, irritating.
