They just needed another 6-12 months to finish up the game, I'm guessing. Eventually you have to start bringing in cash instead of just spending it.

*shrugs* I think it looks great on PC and I'm thoroughly enjoying the game. I'm not entirely 100% disappointed with it like i was with Crysis 2 when that was announced it was a console-centric release ported to PC and showed.

On the plus side, they can freely patch and upgrade the PC version as they want. Console versions are locked into their stupid rules system about updates.

On the negative side, they may not patch the PC like they used to if they want it to match the Console versions...

I've got a strong feeling this lag is probably caused by this part way through switch to consoles being the lead platform.

Probably explains the lack of VOIP too.
