Weapon Differences?

I have unlocked a few weapons by now and was wondering if some of you feel the same way I do. In hardcore, it really seems like the only difference in the weapons is fire rate and zoom optic options for each class. I did notice some Assaults can unlock a bipod, but my main point is it appears there isn't one overpowered weapon since most of the time it is 1 or 2 shot kills. Have you noticed any pros and cons to certain weapons?

I think you' may be correct. I havent seen one that really sticks out to be more effective than another one. Fire rate is important when it takes multiple hits to kill someone. The faster fire rate weapons could give an advantage.

I have noticed some on the Support class. It seems that the RPK and M27 have slightly stronger bullets than the M249. There is also slightly more accuracy on the M27/RPK. The trade off is that the M249 has a much larger magazine.

I am sure there are other weapons that have differences, but I agree. In hardcore, the differences are minimal compared to softcore.

Thats the reason why I stuck with the beginning LMGs in the beginning. They're a lot better than the M249.

The M240B and the M60E4 for the Support class is easily a 2 bullet kill. Its pretty insane. Another gun I found really good for Hardcore is the AEK for assualt. Slap a grip on that thing and you have a fast shooting, only vertical recoil gun. I got a 7 killstreak with the gun in under 30 seconds on a Hardcore Operation Metro Conquest match.
