Camo choices and IR Signature

I contemplating not telling you *guys* this to help me catch up in my rank but... HAVE YOU SEEN THIS?

IR Signatures of Camo

I am still trying to figure out what Spec Ops means though, I think I have only gotten 2-3 sets of camo in game...

True. I have noticed with the IR that some people are easier to see than others. This is true without the IR as well though.

Biggest issue though is that the camo does not save what you had it set as - so you have to change it at the start of every map. Makes me wish the game would give me more time before the round starts.

Personally I think Ir is broken, it is too much of a crutch, even though I tend to use it a lot . I hope they implement something to combat it, make the sunlilght effect it more, camo to hide your ir signature, something. As it is its grossly overpowered for maps like Caspian. Tehran and Davamand Peak yeah, but full blown daylight maps? Too much I think.

I've noticed the difference. They are a little harder to see but you can still see em. Little tougher in smoke too. The only thing that really works is thermal. Thermal is 10 time better than IR. So tank ho's have an advantage that no others get. That thermal is wicked good.

I guess I should try the thermal scope for the tank at some point. I haven't switched from smoke because it's too useful, but I should at least see the other things. Same goes with trying canister shells at some point, just to see what happens.

The IR scopes for weapons are like little built-in cheats. It's just all kinds of cool to use but it feels seriously overpowered.

Rand I have used the thermal and it can work well, but kind of like the zoom in for the tank instead.

Anyone else have their camos set to default every time they play? Seems I always have to reset the damned things.

I played with them at first, but I play like a fool so I get killed any camo I use.

I think they are better for the snipers then anyone who moves around alot.

My cammo and main weapon selection gets reset each round. Rather annoying, would prefer if it would leave it set to what I chose from the get go.

My main weapon doesnt change, but camo DEFINITELY resets to starter each map.

Same = annoying. Have to decide between rounds between chafing that so I can run at start to objectives without pause, or going to fridge and getting a cold beer.

The thermal optics for the LAV/APC is much more realistic and therefore doesn't help nearly as much as the IRNV scopes for weapons.

I think it does help to a certain degree. Different camo might help if you're standing still, but movement will always be a dead giveaway.
