    NEED Custom Squads

    Argh, nothing like joining a random squad with a leader who's not putting in objectives or not doing anything at all...

    I seriously hope EA/Dice will implement custom squads. BF3 is boring without a good squad and I usually turn into a lone wolf...

    I also wish we could at least get separate TS channels per team. I realize the plugin may be causing crashes but perhaps if it only splits the teams up it won't be as bad as splitting squads off?

    Agreed about the squads. I wish it would just put you in the game like the other BF games and let you join a squad if you want to. Also, you should be able to create a squad if you want without making you wait until at least 2 peeps want to join it.

    We are already using multiple channels for teams. The auto switch isn't on, though, so you have to switch manually.

      Oh?

      It appears that most just stay in the main lobby though... or am I missing something?

        It isn't on. Most people stay in the lobby until Frogm goes "HEY LETS SPLIT UP CUZ IM SO COOL" and everyone does.

          Usually when I get on everybody on one team is in the lobby and everyone on the other team is in one of the team channels.

            If they are going to FORCE squads, they need to allow new squads to be created. Nothing worse than being stuck with a squad of people who are not playing as a squad.

              Last night I asked the players on my team to join Schultzy and I in another channel so we could get some good team play going. no one did then. Later people who joined and noticed joined us.

                Nail meet hammer. This short sightedness has really killed my bf3 motivation.

                Well that and Skyrim :-)
