How to Move the ChatBox Ingame

open PROF_SAVE_profile with notepad++

change these values

GstRender.ScreenSafeAreaHeight 0.048000
GstRender.ScreenSafeAreaWidth 1.030000

theses are for 1280x768 res

Meanwhile u can do it yourself using GstRender.ScreenSafeAreaHeight

C:\Users\User\Documents\Battlefield 3\settings <-- thats where your PROF_SAVE file is located

you can "somewhat" disable chat by settings coordinates to 0.0, it shows a tiny bit.. but chatbox is poof! >but i dont encourage u disable it..

only the chatbox since there was rumors about it getting removed..
so i fiddled with the chatbox.

EyeInfinity Temp Fix: for Schulzty
I follow the problem a few days because I'm an eyefinity user too, now. I also got the problem with the wrong marker layer, but I found a solution for myself:

-> Deactivate Eyefinity Setup
-> Activate the Extended Desktop (in windows itself, not with catalyst) with the 3 monitors (that was my original desktop setup)
-> Restart the Computer !
-> Activate Eyefinity (in my case 3x1 Landscape)
-> Start Origin + Battlefield 3
and FEEL THE BATTLE !!!

I tried to move it to the left side of the screen but couldnt get but about 3/4's of the way over.

Anybody find a number that will put it all the way to the left let me know.
