Am I mistaken or they nerfed the m240b? I haven't played in a while because of skyrim, now that I'm done with it, I come back and the gun shockingly doesn't feel the same!?!?

Don't see where they touched that, but these they did..

Increased the damage of the 44 Magnum slightly.
• Increased the range and minimum damage of the .357 Round from the MP412 Rex.
• Increased the range of all .45cal and 9mm weapons.
• Slightly increased the range of the P90 and MP7 and PDW-R.
• Slightly increased the range of the 5.56mm PDW-R and decreased the minimum damage at long range.
• Slightly increased the minimum range of the Mk11, SVD, and M39 EMR 7.62mm rifles.
• Decreased the maximum damage and maximum range of the G3 and SCAR-H 7.62mm weapons.
• Reduced the damage from FIM-92 and SA-18 IGLA missiles against aircraft.
• Increased the damage and range of the 40mm BUCK rounds.
• Reduced the damage .50cal weapons do against Helicopters.
• Updated T90 canister shell tweaks to match Abrams canister shells UI Changes (PC)

I kinda get what you mean, I feel the same. Playing too much Skyrim then going back.

The M240B has 7.62x51mm NATO round so going with those patch notes, it should'nt have been nerfed.

Don't hold back when you want to slaughter! Press F5, Kill people, Press F9

As for the 240B. I cannot say I am a fan of it. I honestly find that I most likely enjoy the M27 or RPK over the other Support weapons.

Quicksave actually, so don't mess up you only have 1 and it erases the previous one when you press f5!

About the m240b I guess I'm just too lazy to test other guns to see which one is best for me, I just go the easy way and use the last unlock, figure it should be overall a good tool!

Nope. Last unlock is not always the best. Each gun has it's strengths and weaknesses. Some are better at range, some are better up close. Some deal damage faster - if you can hit your target. Some do less, but hits the target more.

It's not even the last... the M60 is after the 240B.

I find the 240B to be the best balance between 249 and 60

Sure sure every gun has something for it, as I said I'm just too lazy to investigate!! it takes far more time than it seems to do that properly.

I totally forgot about the m60 being the last upgrade.. probably because it was poopy when I tried it xD although that might be because I enjoy a good fire rate.. but the m249 being the first unlock, although it must have some worth, can definitely not be as strong as the later upgrades in many aspects beside the delicious fire rate, it'd just not make any sense to get "the best" support gun as a first upgrade.. xD but that's VERY debatable. I'd also probably get used to the slow rate of the m60 if I had to, that doesn't mean it's a good idea, it could end up like a boulder attached to my ankles, in the long run your potential is crushed if you don't choose your tools wisely!
