I like the M27 the best in my opinion, because it feels like it's the most versatile. It's got a good range, low bullet drop, and decent damage. It's down side is that it doesn't have so many rounds to toss about.

The M249 is terribly inaccurate, but it's got the fastest rate of fire and a massive amount of rounds to let loose.

The PKP I couldn't find a single thing that was good about it. It seemed alittle accurate, but it was like tossing peas at my enemy.

The 240B is a rather good. It hits very hard, and is accurate at most ranges. The thing that sucks about it, is you cannot fire off more than 5 rounds at a time and be accurate. This creates issues when you're trying to fend off more than a couple guys.



I have not used the M60 yet though because I am working on finishing off the unlocks for the previous weapons. Once I am done with the 240B I will be working on it.

Of course, the different optics effects each gun. The RDS's make them pull up quicker than optics with zooms, or the IRNV. Take that into mind when you're selecting a LMG.

You got me there lol, it's just that now as the head of the thieves guild and dark brotherhood.. with the main quest completed.. and the fact that at a mere level 25 I rape the shyte out of everybody.. I feel like I've seen it all! So I'm done with it until I start a new character, a mage this time around, my sneak oriented archer was a blast but I want to see if they made magic a better experience in skyrim, it wasn't explosive/obnoxious enough for me in oblivion xD

I've been using the m60 a lot lately. I don't like the slow rate of fire, but it seems just two rounds is all it takes to drop someone. Combined with the bi-pod, you can really lay down some good defense with it and a scope/magazine. I just wish the ROF was a bit higher.

You'll likely be disappointed. I myself have one character and have only played one character since the 14th. So, I decided to put some perks into destruction. The cool thing is you can get enchanting to 100 (which is fairly easy, just expensive) and make it so Magicka never runs out with destruction spells.

However, since there isn't spellmaking in this game, the magic is dumbed down. They took away a lot of spells, and added a few new cool ones, but they aren't that effective. There are 5 tiers to how powerful a spell is, and their damage is never upgraded (unless you level destruction... but I'm not 100% sure about that). Novice thru Master. I hear the Master spells are really cool AoE, but how often has AoE came to bite me in the ass? about everytime I use it.
