BF3 Dead?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if the majority of people that play BF3 has just vanished. Normally Cain's Lair is full of people and I don't mean just CLR's. I remember when we had Bad Company 2, the server was going crazy with people up until early in the morning when I would play with Rossy.

After awhile I've been noticing that this server has slowed down alot lately. Especially when I get on. I know earlier today when I looked at the server, the server wasn't that full and that was around 2 this afternoon.

I don't know. I think people got disappointed with BF3 and left to go play something else lol

I've been gone for a couple of days... Actually this weekend because of Star Wars the Old Republic.

I'll create a thread and give you guys my opinion on that game. I was in the beta weekend. If you want to have some information about the game, let me know. Or just read what I've got to say. I'll post it in the "Other games" forum.

Not dead, just condensing to fewer players.

Why fewer players right now?

• Holidays spent with families followed by "back to work" fatigue.
• Competition with newer games.
• Normal pattern: All games have a flash at first because of the game's marketing. Players who enjoy the "new game" might not enjoy slowly mastering the details.

It was the most played game on steam yesterday. And a lot of clrs play it too.

Oh, and I've been busy playing that payday bank robbery game. I plan on murdering some clear tonight though.

Holidays... I haven't been able to play much due to social outings and whatnot. When the Karkand maps come out, I think everybody will come back.

However, when star wars comes out, I will be dedicating alot of my gaming time to that.

The great thing about BF games is that you can drop in and out. Play for 30 mins when you have the time. People will always be going in and out of the games. For thanksgiving it just was down because people were with faimly.

Try searching in the browser. I seem to lose my favorite server quite often for whatever reason.

I don't even go into the favorite section anymore as it takes an extra click. I type in cains in the search and it saved the search. So it shows up each time perfectly.

Of course if the server is down nothing shows up.

Holidays, people out of town, game competition, both other games and other servers. Co-op mode takes some away as well.

Just a hard time for peeps right now. With This holiday over, I think you'll be seeing more people rejoin the fun.

For instance, i had to work thanksgiving and the weekend. Then get motivated to play when get home from work. And go through the won't load, quit responding routine for 10-15 minutes before i can actually join.

Main thing is that the people who ARE playing on the server are FUN to play with, even on a non full server.

I have been on the road for 6 days and my current laptop just won't play bf3. I have been real busy with stuff at home as well. Mini hasn't been on due to him being unable to get the patch installed by himself. He also gets frustrated with the crashes and black screens so he hasn't missed it, he prefers his Legos ATM. Maybe when I get home on Thursday and put the patch on he may have less troubles.

Does anyone have a graph showing the total number of players bf3 has? This would be a better indication of the life of bf3.
