I just open battlelog and join on one of the CLRs on the server. Plus, if there is an opening in their squad I think it puts you right in the squad with them.

However, when star wars comes out, I will be dedicating alot of my gaming time to that.

My old MMO guild from 10 years ago (7-8 social gaming buddies) are getting back together for SWTOR.

Been doing the beta lately and having a fun time, as the game is awesome with the voice overs. I want to play on release just to finish by bounter hunter story line.

There was a 3 point buck walking near my dads house on thanksgiving.. it was in one of the most densely populated parts of NJ and he must have had really good instincts not to be hit yet.

I agree with most of the comments here.... A majority of the players we have are adults, not kids, and we have lives outside of BF3 (as I am sure the original poster can agree to)... The holidays, the additional time spent at the bar due to spending time with the family AT the holidays, increased workload, and getting stuff done around the house in preparation for the REST of the holiday season and winter have been on the top of my list...

Lately I have only been playing on the weekends, so I go all week without gaming and that put solid stretches in on the weekends... Which I can't say I like all that much, because then I get burnt out with it.

I voiced this concern to my fiance tonight and she suggested I game right when I come home tomorrow and she will make dinner. Unfortunately, I have some computer parts coming, so I have some important decisions to make.

I can agree with everything you have to say Nate. I just don't have the family mentality. It's something that I got from my dad.

I have respect for those family people though don't get me wrong. In alot of ways I'm still a kid. When it comes to decisions about buying a new video card or saving for emergencies, you better know I'm going for that video card haha.

That's why I keep thinking that BF3 is dead. After tonight though I realised that my job is just getting in the way. When you all get off work, I'm going to work. So that's why I get lonely at times with BF3.

Soon though I probably won't be on BF3 as normal either. Especially when Mass Effect 3 comes out. Don't expect to see me at all lol

I've been looking for a game that stimulates all my senses. Puzzles along with a great story line like Star Wars. Man I would love Stars of Warcraft if it had puzzles and actually created a challenge.

I started playing Hacker Evolution and wow! I love that game in all honesty. The newer versions of point and click can kiss my butt.

I love the fact that you have to figure out alot of stuff. Infact I refuse to read the manual just to figure everything out on my own. It might be faster to read something, but it's more of a challenge when you don't know what's going on.

That's why you see me up in jets and choppers. I try to get control of everything there is. Ground isn't that challenging to me. It's when I get in the air and can't see anything that becomes a challenge. By the time I get a lock on something I'm already past it lmao

Anyway. I understand you all have families and respect you all for it. I was just curious if BF3 was dead.

Also have to keep in mind that the population is diluted amongst a ton of BF3 servers. Once some of those close up we'll probably see more numbers like Bad Company 2.
