Quick question before i call it a night. To use the 3rd seat does the user have to have the 3rd seat unlocked? I always thought it was like this as i've not got it unlocked yet and cannot use any tank position other than 1 or 2.

However during a discussion with D&G i had a few minutes ago he said that if the driver has the 3rd seat unlocked then anybody can use it regardless of whether they have it unlocked or not. Is this true? If yes, why can't i use the 3rd seat in a tank? The position doesn't even show up as an option on the tank seat UI.

Hmm, I have the third seat unlocked, and my friend who didn't have it unlocked yet couldn't join the tank even though only 2 seats were taken, we tried several times, now he has it and jumps right in!

The third seat is per user, not driver. If you have the third seat, you can get into the third seat. If you don't have a third seat, and the driver does, you still can't get into the third seat.
