I dont know about how you mullets feel, but I feel like we gotta game now. Apart from a few missing items this feels like Battlefield, unlike the previous 9 maps we've been playing. Skid steer is working too.

I dont know where they get the new map designs from but this is the way it's supposed to be played.Screw all that bunched in funnel type play.

last night was FREAKIN AWESOME. I am actually having fun now. this is exactly how battlefield games should be played.

I totally agree Cobalt. They should remake all the BF2 maps and just have those instead.

Also, I really enjoyed hearing all the people who never played the old style bf2 assault/conquest "WTF IS GOING ON?!" "HOW COME WE DON'T HAVE ANY FLAGS?!"

I was so confused on my first rounds in oman! Rode that bmp, did jumps and tricks, was trying to remember the feel of it, same for the 3 other maps! it really felt out of this world trying to figure out where I was with all the nostalgia and the pure fun XD

But I do miss the commander mode. It does change the way the map is played when you don't have people trying to blow up the arty pieces or the radar and UAV trailer.

They nerfed the mortar so badly, its almost useless now.

Not really. Each type of mortar round has its own timer - standard shells are on one cooldown, and smokes are on a separate cooldown. Alternate between shells and smokes and you can fire the thing damn fast, providing cover to your team and keeping your enemies disrupted all at the same time.

I am happy with the BF2 maps.

YES. They are nice. Now I am wanting a few more... Dalian Plant, Kubra Dam, Road to Jalalaland, Mashtuur City, Daqing Oilfields, Dragon Valley... I need those, at least!
