Reporting players...

Hey guys, (admins, super admins, ultra admin [<- cain ], and regulars in general)... I discovered something and want to share with all of you.

I joined the server tonight just to find a guy aimbotting and everybody was complaining, so I check the guy's profile and noticed he's extremely good: 16 hours playing and he was already level 48, so made a report here posting the latest battlelog report and his battlelog profile (he's name was CarharttJacket):

anyway, I went back to the server and told people he had been reported and admin action would be taken soon, and to wait a little (because they were leaving).

Another round ended, and he left. So I came back to the forums to see if my report was replied by any admin saying he was banned or something... and I clicked the link again to his profile only to see he had changed his name!!! the ****** (auto censorship).

His new name is FIREARMS and if you click that first link I posted up there, you will the new name BUT notice the URL still says bf3/user/CarharttJacket/!!!! AND if you look up his old name "CarharttJacket" it will say it doesn't exist, sooooo posting screenshots is useless if those guys keep changing their name, please post battlelog reports and profiles as proof instead!!

There is also a way to report him via his profile. Look for the little triangle under the "Find Soldier" box.

yes I have tried reporting them that way, but I wasn't sure if it was about the player's performance or about reporting contents on their profile.

The way it reads when you report them through their profile it is like you are reporting bad content on their profile so I never knew if that was right either.

Yeah both carhart and ToLeGeTtOqUiT were both aimbotiting. They hboth had consistent scores such as 70/2 60/6 every round. I also was killed by them both numerous times we need to ban these guys

I figured it was worth a shot, and it's better than nothing.

At least on Reddit, people use that report button for all sorts of things - bad content in the profile, hacking, boosting, aimbotting. I think EA intended it for just bad profile content, but they didn't give a report method intended for any of the other stuff, so it's started to fill that purpose as well.
