Posible hint for Battlefield 2143 on wake island?

    Looks interesting:

THE BUZZ: Has DICE included a subtle hint at a potential Battlefield 2143 in Back to Karkand?

Over on the officially EA UK forums, member Jinzor posted a message for a friend of his who goes by the Battlelog name of “didiMAU”.

In the Battlefield 2: Armored Fury booster pack, there was a car with a license plate reading “2142″. While at the time that number might not have be understood, it ended up being a hint at a future reveal: Battlefield 2142.

Now, didiMAU found the following in the Wake Island map for the Back to Karkand Battlefield 3 expansion:

Meh. They just released a game. They're assholes if they release another new one within the next year.

Give me some expansion packs. You've already made the engine.

2143 as an expansion would be nice. Or any expansion including snow would be awesome.
Just don't give us a new game for a few years. Keep feeding us expansions and DLC's until you can really improve the base game, and then I'll be happy to buy BF4. Don't try to rape my wallet like Activision/Blizzard does with CoD games.

It'll happen sooner or later. I really liked 2142.

              I liked BF2 better than BF2142.

True BF2 was better, but 2142 was fun.

2142 was FUN. Granted, I joined up too late for BF2, and when we brought BF2 back as a stop gap, it was fun too.

2142 was very buggy though, and moving the ships caused all kinds of problems.

I didn't play a whole lot of BF2 because it was always glitchy feeling to me. I couldn't hit ANYTHING with ANY of the guns, and I was not (still am not) a fan of sitting in armor all of the time.

I enjoyed 2142 because the guns actually worked. You aim, and they hit where you are firing.

I also really enjoyed the 100 year evolution of the maps and the weapons. It was neat, because they were "real" enough that you could actually see these things happening.

I liked 2142 as well. Except the stupid hover tanks, i couldn't drive those things for my life.

The pilum ruled as well as the soccer ball mines.

The soccer ball mines were absolute giggles! Whoever came up with those needs a pint on me!

The hover tanks were interesting. I found it amusing so many people couldn't tank with the (traditional) tread-driven tanks. I enjoyed both, but there was something magical about circle-strafing a tank and tanking out a walker. ^.^

The Hover tanks were great because they were so mobile.
