I have tried my best to get a warm fuzzy for BF3 but it just ain't happening. I don't think I'll be playing BF3 too much anymore. I blame Dice for screwing up what could have been a golden oportunity. Tiny squads, no commanders, messed up physics, a crappy flight model, and much more have left me wanting. Sorry, maybe next game.....

I agree. The game is meh... But I still play it from time to time. After getting DICE Developer team dogtag, what else is there to do. I need more maps. And trying to c4 a armor vehicle just toss my k/d ratio into the trash can.

I hear ya... BF2 still rules imho.

But BF3 can be excellent if you get into a good squad with voice... I've actually been using EA's voice server when I play with some coworkers. I've always preferred that to an open TS channel.

In my own mind I am considering a sniper with soflam close to being a commander.
You can spot and help out squads and can work on a flag defense.

The commander was a great thing, up until it got hacked.

I really miss being able to call for resupply when sometimes I can't get a guy to drop ammo. Jump up and down, shoot near them, use the (worthless) commo rose and they look at you and run off.

i was jumpping in front of someone.. they didn't do anything so I shot at their feet. They then TKed me because I shot at their feet.

When you press Q, I hear my guy say something like "HEY! Gimme some ammo!". Can the other player not hear the request? So many times the above happens, it's like they don't even hear me. Sometimes it does work though and they toss a med kit or ammo pack down. Rarely will someone slow their roll so you can jump in the vehicle though

it will show on their mini map if someone says they need a lift.
