Bottom line I'm willing to give it another month, then I'm taking it down...

Nah, this is just another game, no big deal, games come and go.

Like I said perhaps we pop back up a BC2 server, it was fun, and we enjoyed playing it quite a bit.

I have the feeling that BF3 is going down. And a lot faster then BC2 did. if i have to be honest BC2 was strong till BF3 came. But BF3 is huge fail for me.

The game has warts but it's not terrible.

+ Fix the spawn system

+ Fix bad luck

- Give builtin squad VOIP

- Flash `support` role

Overall it's not that bad to me. Those are the two bad things. Better enhancements would have been builtin squad VOIP. They rushed this thing out to meet holiday deadlines. Too bad.

Sometimes, when I'm playing engie, I need ammo. I press `Q` over and over, hearing my guy say 'Hey I need ammo'. As my guy is yelling, support is running away. I wish something would flash on his screen - `DROP AMMO` or whatever is appropriate for that role. OK, it's intrusive, but this is aggravating .

I like playing the game still. It's only a drag when teams get really imbalanced. Really imbalanced teams are killing servers more than anything. Last night the teams were so imbalanced, I had to leave the lair. Could barely get out of spawn .

It doesn't matter though really. Have y'all seen the GW2 videos that are coming out now that the NDAs have been lifted .

Sad to see what's happened since my last visit to the forums and server two weeks ago due to my health. I was hoping that the community would be alive and kicking when i got back.

It's a solid game, not better than BF2 but still solid especially when you play with squad mates...

And I noticed a real lack of CLR's on the server since the game debuted... so that's a contributing factor imho...

Taking down the server....

The server did better with mixed maps imho... the last few weeks it wasn't mixed (all b2k) and it was very tough to start the server... I was on with KP, drisel, etc in the mornings or early afternoons and there was hardly anyone on.

At least this time I've got a powerful PC so I can play the next CL game...

edit again: I mean, is there any chance for a BF2 revival server? I'd be there in a split second...

I'd rather do BF2 than BC2. I still think BF3 is better than BC2.

My thing is that I'm really into SWTOR right now and ME3 is just around the corner. I'll get back into BF3 when they add something fresh.

I'd love some BF2, but I don't think that can pry me away long-term from the other games going right now.
