Don't Revive Me Bro just finished a live podcast with Alan Kertz (Demize99) Senior Gameplay Designer at DICE. Lots of interesting things mentioned.
    Don't Revive Me Bro! - Podcast with Demize99 [twitch.tv]

Suppression: He agrees that suppression is too much now, says that the balance is somewhere in the middle of pre patch and post patch. Says they think they will take a step back with suppression and reduce it. Said there were lots of complaints pre-patch from support players saying that the suppression was basically useless so they changed it but they obviously went too far and hopes that players don't find it too game-breaking until they can balance it.

Paper Tanks: He said tanks and RPG's have not changed at all, after hearing so many complaints about this he actually went into a server and tested it all again just to make sure, however he recognises that their are flow on effects from other buffs/nerfs that need to be addressed, choppers, repair tool etc and they are looking at adjusting them for a better balance.

BattleRecorder: Demize was asked if there was one thing that could be implemented today what would he choose, he said BatttleRecorder, he said pretty much everyone working at DICE wants to implement BattleRecorder but what they are using in the studio at the moment for trailers etc, is a broken piece of junk and they won't release it in it's current state.

Mav Riding: Mentioned how it was a massive face palm when they released the patch and realised they never though of proning on it, they thought they had fixed it.

Fall Damage: Have made a big change, improvement in this patch, they have seen a few comments about it still happening, if players can find what spots and reproduce them they will look at it.

Parachuting: Mentioned a lot of people haven't realised how parachuting works post patch, if you hold forward while parachuting you will fall faster, if you hold back button you will fall slower, if you are falling faster you will take damage when you hit the ground so it's a good idea to slow it down as you get close to the ground.

I may have missed a few things as I'm only listening to it in the background.

Yeah, I can confirm the parachuting one. I think it's a good change. You definitely don't want to hit the ground too fast.

I can confirm the "paper tanks" without even playing post-patch. Based solely on the sum package of the patch notes, I could tell they were making armor much less useful and powerful by increasing pretty much every threat to armor. In fact, I probably posted something to that extent on the first thread long, long ago when they released the patch notes (anyone know why it took SO long to get the patch up after that point?).

Im going to do my best here

Demize99 said he is not in the position to talk about when or what is the reason they do or don’t ship patches on platforms but DICE philosophy is not to favor any one platform. Patch may ship one week here one week there and it may be a time difference but the goal is to have all platforms up to the same level and they would like it to be quickly as possible and ultimately the same game on all platform.

He mention about when reading the forums like "Its not EA, Its Sony, Its Microsoft but wait we (PC) don’t have to be certified for PC" They release the patch as soon as they can for that platform. They don’t want to see different patches on different platforms unless its a specific issue on one platform. One comment he made was about if it wasnt for the relationship with MS, the game wouldnt even be out for xbox360. What Sound like a juicy story here

Um about 5-10 mins before this conversation happen, he said a issue they had for example; the Famas, they tweak it for one platform, the tweak was over powered for the other platform. He wouldn’t say which platform otherwise they play favorite. To sum some things up, they were constantly tweaking the patch to a "equal" playing field for 3 platforms. I would think the reason they release the patch notes back in what late February??? Was they thought the patch was almost ready but play testing proved them otherwise.

          -----

So here is the issue I see, There goal is to have a patch the same on all platforms. Since its impossible for the reason when they tweak it for platform A, that same tweak applied to Platform B and C just didnt work right. So they reduce the platform A tweak to make it compatible for the other two platforms tweaks. The “In between tweak” I guess if you want to call it. Like the suppression for PC, man for whatever platform it work properly, my god, the suppression on PC is boosted like 50 time to when your under heavy suppression, everything stays blur stronger and feels longer to a point that at times I find a spot and wait the suppression effect to fade off

One interesting note for me was the USAS conversation, (My god that shotty is a beast! Gonna use the USAS in the close quarters combat DLC ) the USAS is popular on PC, PS3 USAS is hardly used and Xbox360 USAS is in-between the other two platform.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
