You *******. The Thunderbolt and Frog are already in the game. If you play Rush in Caspian and other maps they include those jets. The thunderbolt is a joy to fly.

Well since I won't be playing those maps it sucks.
My grandfather helped with the weapon systems on the first style of the thunderbolt.

Since its confirm the AC-130 in the game. Anyone know if Russians have the Tupolev Tu-142 or something similar?

The idea of the AC-130 in BF3 just blew my mind. Previous FPS games have had guns and vehicles, but it feels that something like this takes our game/battle experience up a notch.

Desert Combat was a mod for 1942 and it had AC130 Gunships in the game. You could fly or you could get in one of the gun positions.

BF1942 was the WWII Battlefield game. It was first in the Battlefield Series. Desert Combat was a free mod put out by Trauma Studios. It won the 2003 Best Mod Award from File Planet.
After the success of Desert Combat Dice and EA released Battlefield 2.
