That is because once they release a game they are only thinking about getting the next game to market. They only care about bottom line. To their thinking updating already released titles does not bring in any money.

I saw it and I already knew that. Even the jewelry business does not have that kind of mark up. Manufacture for $30.00 and sell for $400.00. that is a 13 and one third mark up.

Luxottica controls most of the retail market (including multiple stores in every mall), but I can go on-line to buy discounted frames. Also, Costco has a very good reputation for providing good, cheap optical services. They will never be owned by Luxottica.

Just because they own the manufacturers, the retailers, train the doctors and also own the insurance provider (Eyemed)? Seems legit.

Except, Luxottica doesn't own all of the manufacturers, insurance plans, etc. If they did, the anti-monopoly guys would already have them in court. Instead, they control prices by owning "most" of those sources. Their corporate merger lawyers are as careful as Google's tax lawyers.
