Geez, I HATE how you have to log in to battlelog to see linked articles. I'm at work now, but I'll check this later. In lieu of a beta I went with a specific Nvidia driver that was recommended, and it helped a lot.

I'd be real careful about this one. I seem to recall MAJOR driver issues with both BF2 and BF3 along the way when they kept updating drivers to deal with patches.

To those still finding performance issues even after the beta driver updates, this actually fixed a lot of issues:

Update DirectX from your BF4 beta folder:

DRIVE: Origin: Battlefield 4 Beta > __Installer > directx > redist > DXSETUP.exe

It made the game playable for me (at high settings) but I assume DICE still has a lot of issues they need to fix with this game video-wise.

It downloads the drivers, but it will not install them until you tell it to.

A few of us are having great luck on 320.49 if you roll back to those (if beta doesnt work).

the AMD drivers dont work for me, game is unplayable for me at all.. i have a 6970 2gb and cant run it..

I installed the beta driver last night but won't be able to test it until this evening. I'm going back to 320.49 if it doesn't work well. 320.49 is pretty effective with this game.

Going back to 320.49. I just tried to load into a round with the beta driver and it took FOREVER, then I crashed before reaching the spawn screen. Nowhere near that slow on 320.49 yesterday.

Bizarre note? I noticed you can hear and likely participate in squad voip long before you fully load the map.
