The last map I played, with the islands was cool aesthetically, but was rather boring gameplay wise. I've loved the majority of the maps so far.

I've been watching Twitch a lot over the past few hours. The consensus is that all the maps are good, however it might be best to not play Shanghai (pity, I liked it) simply because it was the beta map.

Rand is correct. Dust was hated because it was very CT sided. It was easy to bottle the T's up and then the map became a campfest.

Cain ran a demo server for BF2 until EA stopped supporting the demo. It was Gulf of Oman and it continued to bring new players to the Lair after they bought the game.
