All servers are crashing FREQUENTLY. Nothing I can do at present - sadly.

You can always use an Xbox 360 wired controller...it worked great when I tried it in the beta, although you WILL lose aiming precision.

I thought about using the Xbox controller, but I'm getting use to using a mouse and keyboard again. Just taking a bit lol. I've gotten quite a bit better already. At first I was having trouble aiming and shooting with the right mouse click. I would just hit it once and then wouldn't stay zoomed in. I believe that's how it was on BF2 wasn't it? you didn't have to hold down right click you just hit it to zoom in and again to zoom out.

You can set the zoom either way. hold down or click.
