Some of our UK friends already changed on Sunday, October 27. Before BF4 release.
They totally wasted the extra hour.
I really wish we'd do away with it completely. Every year it is mentioned yet nobody does anything about it. All it means is that we now have 3 months of darkness from 5:00pm onwards.

It essentially is supposed to help with lighting and such. Though there are whole states that don't change.
Not me, I have to work tonight because of time change
Now here is a thing... do they pay you for that extra hour?
and on the flip side do you lose an hours pay in spring?
and if your contracted to work say 6hrs, can you go home early?
Always wondered about that, would assume they do obviously pay, cos your working that...
if your salaried it makes it less of an issue.
but the hours thing... now theres a question

I'm salaried so its not really an issue. Just sucks to have to work (at work now) saturday into sunday overnight. Then its expected youll still be in m-f 8-5.
If you are in a hotel ask for a wake up call at 1:30 am... they won't know what to do. We used to screw with other employees and tell them it was a guest request

Chesty Puller (upon seeing a flamethrower for the first time)

I hate the whole Daylight savings time thing. I wish we kept daylight savings time hours all year round.
Agreed.
Our earliest sunrise is roughly 4:25am and sunet around 9:45pm. Factoring in residual light before and after, we're dark for about 5 hours a day during summer. I love it.
Well, I finally made my back to the lair! I hope fortune has blessed everyone this new year! I've got some updates, dad (Todd98 )is over 60....yall send...
