    32 vs 64 Bit?

    Hi!

What version of BF4 do you use? Can't see a difference.

64... Wasn't the BETA 64 only? Who still uses 32 bit? Not sure your CPU is going to be powerful enough to run it...

I think it is 64bit only however if you go in the game properties is shows options of selecting auto or 32bit or 64bit.

Tbh, if there is a 64bit option, you a should never run 32bit. Hopefully 32bit and games will be done and dusted within the next couple of years. It has out-stayed its welcome.

That's the wrong way to think Juneau.. You should appreciate the art of the 32 bit system. We should all go back to the days of a 16 bit machine and revel in its artistry. Back when you were lucky to get the ram out properly and floppy disks made of paper and some film. Keep history alive and learn from it!

I would hope everything is being set to 64 bit for Win 7 and Win 8.

I have two default icons on my desktop: One is named "Battlefield 4(64 bit)" the other only "Battlefield 4".
I see no difference between these ingame. Only 1,9 GB of RAM is used according to the task manager.

I guess they just run the alternate code compilers to generate the two different versions. No additional features, such as using more RAM.

I wonder if some individual PC problems would be resolved by switching to the other code version.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
