My impresion from BF4 is that EA no longer gives a f*ck.
They want you to pay $110 for a game that did not work on day 1 and will not work until people stop playing it. If you count the features this game supposedly has, and then count how many work you're looking at some really bad figures. Battlelog doesn't work, the SP doesn't work, the MP obviously doesn't work. The updates don't work.
EA is bak on teh ban list, after they screwed everybody with BF3 they were on my ban list, and now with an unfinished game, they land right back on it. I think MOh was 1000x the game that BF4 is just because it worked. everything about it was straight from COD, but it worked, as does COD. I bought MW3 after I got tired of putting up with BF3 and it was so much better, no lag, no crap, just exactly what you would expect from a $60 game. And I hate COD, ever since COD 4 it went downhill and never recovered IMO, but at least I can join a game and point my gun at your head adn get a HS, in BF4 I can't even kill you, because the server is lagged out and I'm shooting where you were 15 seconds ago.
Tried every hardware/software fix in the book, turned the graphics down to practically 2007 and still no results. This means it is on EA's turf and not mine. BF4 is going into the dust collection pile with all of their other flops, and they will not be getting the $50 from me for premium like I was planning.
Beta worked great, should have just sold it as the finished game, at least we would have one spectacular working map...
So EA (notice I'm leaving DICE out of this as they did their job) has 1 week to fix the game or I probably won't see an EA logo on my screen for a good while. More and more people keep giving them 2nd chances and I see more and more people disgusted with the 2nd opertunity.
1 week, or I'm ditching this hunk of coding errors they call a game, and going back to ARMA III and hanging out in the "games that work" zone until these producers remove their heads from the uttermost parts of their money enriched posteriors
