Double XP - November 28 through December 5

To show our appreciation for your patience as we work through these issues, we are announcing that from November 28 through December 5, we will reward all players with Double XP for every multiplayer match they complete. We understand that the launch issues may have impacted your progression, and we want to do everything we can to help you get back the XP that you may have lost. Also, to cap off the week, on December 5 we will give all players that log in to Battlefield 4 multiplayer a M1911 pistol scope. This special sidearm scope, previously reserved for our DICE developers, has a 3X zoom and is available for all classes in Battlefield 4.

Read about this earlier. One thing that slightly annoyed me as Nov30/Dec1 was double XP for premium members. So technically we're no longer getting anything above normal users.

If your level 2 yea it works well. I you are level 50 who cares. You already unlocked all the kits.

It would be nice if they also gave us the 1911 to go with the scope.
I have yet to unlock any pistols.

The pistols have been absolute trash so far. I unlocked the m1911 yesterday but haven't had time to use it just yet. Every other pistol is pure uselessness. The only good one is the first one. The Rex doesn't have any reg either. It's broken.

I like the P226, and the M9 is a TOUCH better.

The M9 hits harder, but the P226 is more accurate/faster.

Go Figure.

But agree about the double XP weekend. They're opening it up for everyone, and the premium users get shit on. Surprise surprise.

I only put the suppressor on the first pistol. At least it will be harder to find me on the map if I have to use it. Thank god for battle packs.

I've unlocked additional pistols. IMHO the first one (P226) is still the best one.

Every first weapon/vehicle perk is the best unlock in this game. All vehicles unlocks are mostly useless and I go back to the original unlocks. Every weapon I end up using the first scope on. Iron sights on autos and the original scope on snipers. I HATE that.

Yeah, you would think each unlock should be progressively better. I don't find that to be the case.
