Balance? scramble

I wanted to respond earlier.



I had played a couple servers other than CAIN's. One had a balance run on it. It balanced by squads, not by individuals. This would allow you to play with your friends still, but would mix the squads up.

I still need to look into this for you for the possibility of use on Official servers. Just didn't have time yesterday.

I also enjoy getting things mixed up between rounds if it keeps the squads intact. That is always a primary complaint among the vocal people who like to whine about everything is that once things are unbalanced they often stay unbalanced for quite a few rounds. At least if the teams are getting swapped around it can give them the impression that things are being balanced regardless if its a single squad really winning things for their team every round.

After listening tonight constantly in the server about how teams should be scrambled i gotta say I'm tired of hearing about it a little. I've been on plenty other servers on the winning and losing team. Sometimes what you get are just one or two good squads on a winning team that actually work together. Yea you could scramble teams and not break up squads but that doesn't change what people are complaining about. What they want is to constantly have close maps. Which is to say, they want a balance of skill and cooperation on each team. I just gotta say thats a little bit of bullshit. Even though this is a video game and not real life, life aint always fair. The funny thing is those vocal people don't try to rally their squadmates and probably dont have teamates willing to listen. Too many ppl in the COD mindset instead of battlefield veterans who know how to work as a squad and a team. On three maps tonight one locker, one floodzone and one rogue transmission my team had capped most of the points within the first two minutes of the game. Where was the defense from the other side? it was nowhere. Everyone running around to wherever the hell they wanted to go and no one really trying to reach an objective, which is actually holding a point, not lighting up whatever they can find. And does the losing team ever change tactics? no. They dont pull out mortars on locker and try to blow up the guys defending outside, they just keep running into a hail of gunfire with no plan in mind. sorry if that seems like a little rant but its getting old. Even on servers where they scramble teams i've seen blowouts quite often maybe not 600 point blowouts but 300 or 400 easily. I'm not saying the people in this thread complain and dont do their all to try to get their team to work with them but sometimes getting your ass kicked happens. I know i've had it happen to me before.
