No contact with EA Online error

I just spent several hours moving my my office to a different room so i could try to get a round of BF3 on on my desktop. After updating everything and trying to log onto our server I get the error in the title.

A week with no play, now I try to play BF4 and I get that error. They should assign one specific person responsible for BF4. I would go slap them with my shoes.

It's always something with the (**&^(* game. Maybe I'll just go download some sexy armor for one of my Skyrim followers and go slay some dragons.

I saw that issue for about 5mins a few days ago. Not seen it since.

Maybe you were getting the error because you were trying to login to Cainslair BF4 Server using BF3.

Yesterday EA was the target of DOS attacks, try it today.

Imo, I think this issue is an intermittent account based problem. Not game or server. It should probably say something along the lines of "Your account is currently unavailable. Please try again later." Instead of sounding like a message for "OMG everything is DOWN!"

I could see everyone else playing, I just couldn't. I was able to get online with Golden for a few minutes.

If EA's services are not working, the whole world has to stop what its doing until they are.

Least I'm sure thats what they think half the time.

That error happens when you can't authentic with EA. It'll happen once in a while, either because you recent crashed/rebooted or because EA sucks dick and can't make a stable product or system even if they threw all their money at it.

It seems to be going down on a daily basis lately... such as right now.

EA had another DDOS attack yesterday. so if you were in the server when it happened you were fine. However nobody could login once it started so in essence nobody could join the server during the attack.
