    And Wigz is correct. The really good pilots will continually use the buildings for cover to defeat the missiles. I find that if you time it right and hit them while they are maneuvering low you can get them to crash into something and die. You may not get points for it, but it does help your team by getting rid of a pesky pilot.

    Yea I only got off like 6 strikes in 2 maps. Nobody wanted to take the site. It was a crappy team.
    Luckily that map and the next I got you on each first strike.

      So a Sabot round would actually rip right through a chopper without bringing it down unless the shell hits the engine block or the pilot. Fine, realistic. But in the quasi-realistic realm of online shooters, I hit a helo with a frigging tank shell, that helo should ESPLODE. BOOM.

      2-3 guys actually coordinating to shoot a helo? Hell yes that should turn it into toast. I can see one guy, fine. But actually getting collaboration? That deserves reward in today's "Me me me" gaming world.

        hey rand you could have hit the button to switch to external view and then back again and it would get rid of the gun blocking the main turret display as well.

          And yet that very helo can get hit with a single stinger, and uncontrollably flip to the side and hit the ground and explode. Even with gyro stabilisers enabled.

            Juneau I don't run stabilizers anymore. Doesn't seem to help that much.

                This would have been a helpful tip earlier.

                I almost never run external views while tanking. I don't usually need it, and most of the time it was just as fast to switch to the turret and back.

                  Camera switch tends to help a lot of vehicle bugs. If you're piloting and can't look around while holding right mouse, change to the external view and back again. Voila, problem fixed.
