I played on pistol servers to get them, but didn't take that long. Also, it is fun to play pistol only dom every now and again... I still do it even though I have all the pistols unlocked.

Bastards got me thinking about getting prime to get the extra unlocks.

Not sure that most of the unlocks are even worth it. The pistols are the least. You really lose speed and hip fire going away from the basic.
Nades might be useful, though for some reason the flares won't start the oil fires on the new map.

No, but if you're using FLIR/IRNV through smoke, flares kill your vision.

I already have all nades and shotguns. I only got the second pistol two days before they released all of the pistols. Prime also gets all of the DMR's of which I have not gotten any of the advanced DMR's since I have been having to much fun with the shotguns. Maps like Operation Meat Locker and Zavod are great shotgun maps. Even Siege of Shanghai is fun if you are holding the elevators at C.
