    How to change your FoV

    Go to \(My) Documents\BFBC2 and open up settings.ini and it is at the very bottom. You can also change a lot more settings that don't show up as in-game options from here.

    I have found 75 to work quite well for 16:10 (1920x1200). Setting it too high will give a fisheye effect since it doesn't move your perspective back.

      A little more info: BC2 uses vertical FoV setting in the .ini and adjusts the horizontal FoV based on your input value and screen aspect ratio. You can use this nifty tool to find out what number you need to put in the settings to get the HFoV you want:

              What's good with 1920x1080 (16:9)?

                Test out some numbers and play around a bit; FoV is mostly a personal preference . I do remember my friend is using 70 for his 16:9. Perhaps start from there and adjust?

                  Here is something some people might find helpful. Not everyone will have a FOV=55 field in their settings.ini. If you do not see a field at the bottom you can add it. Simple as that.

                  fov=90

                        After reading Cains post I looked at mine and discovered it was at 90, I never notice any fish eye at a resolution of 2048 x 1152.

                              this might help a bit..

                              A little more help on the FOV situation:

                              - In the settings.ini file you will see the Fov value, depending on your resolution and personal taste change this in accordance with the following information.

                              4:3 (1024x76
                              -----
                              FOV90 (Recommended) = 74
                              FOV100 = 84
                              FOV110 = 94
                              -----
                              5:4 (1280x1024)
                              -----
                              FOV90 (recommended) = 78

                              FOV110 = 98

                              16:9 (1280x720, 1920x1080)
