The next patch on 30th of march will include a nerf of the AA shotgun, the M60 LMG and the m1911 pistol. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone "still" have issues with the browser? I seems to have lost my servers history and favorite servers. Now I have to do a complete search to go back to my fav server. Entering the ip addy is a joke too

I doubt the server browser could be so messed up without them knowing before release. Apparently, the bugs have some variety. I've never lost my history and favorites, but I usually cannot add a favorite. And if I have more than six favorites, the ones below show as inactive. Because of this bug, some clans have a list of favorite servers that you can paste into GameSettings.ini .

Usually, my best options are to either find a CLR playing (friends list) or use the sloooow server browser to find a busy server with low ping.

Sever history is stored locally. If you've got a daily incremental backup running, you can go to the GameSettings.ini file to get the previous values for FavoriteGames & RecentGames text. On XP, my file is here "C:\Documents and Settings\< user name >\My Documents\BFBC2"

It doesn't work if your favorite server dont show up in 2 5 or 10 seconds

Most people can't add servers to their favorites. How about you join a server off server browser and save yourself a buttload of trouble. You play for 10 minutes anyways.

Why would I want to do that? I don't like bouncing around random servers and playing with people I dont know... I went back home to Texas Team Players. If Cain host it, then I play here and there. Untill then, its TTP for me. Plus, my ping is in the low teens. And the reason I play 10 or so mins is cause they have the snow maps in the rotation and I dont like the snow maps.

All the good reason to choose a better server. It's a noobfest in there.

Well since the patch the browser has gotten better for me. I don't know if that was intentional or not though. So when I click server browser I get a blank list. It doesn't automatically start searching. Which I kinda like cause I can click the filter options I want and then click full update. Also since the patch the full update seems to go faster or at least tolerably so.

The one thing the patch made worse for me was the CTDs. I'd get all the time. Loading server for the first time, server changing a map, clicking join after dying you name it. I changed my direct X statment in the config file and that has helped tremendously although I still get them (hey whats a EA game with out a few CTDs?)
