yep, the enemy spotting is GREAT, and definitely helps teammates.

Only draw back on the spotting is that If you are not accurate with it, you can not spot again for a few seconds. No rapid button smashing to keep enemy spotted.

Okay apparently I'm NOT good to go I keep getting an error message that says "Failed to connect to EA online. Please try again" when I try to join a game. I can't even see any servers in the server list. I've tried logging out and logging back in multiple times. I was so excited when I got the game, but honestly now I'm just angry If I'm unable to connect to EA online, how come I am able to receive and accept friend requests?

Open one of your old BF games and open the PBsetup. That might help you too. PB is the blame for the majority of BC2's problems.

ch33s3r, also you might need to update the game by using the updater in

C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield Bad Company 2\BFBC2Updater.exe

It is the default directory.

That fixed it, Trep!!! Thank you guys so much! My PB was out of date too but I'm not sure if that was contributing to the problem or not. Once I ran the game updater I could see Cain's server just fine! I have to go to class right now, but I will definitely be on later tonight I'm a happy ch33s3r now

I actually blame DICE along with EA. great game ideas though.
