No Fix guys No Server tonight, most likely..

It looks like we will not be back on-line tonight guys... And there is nothing we can go....

Here is what happened:

Looks like the backend crashed earlier and has caused servers to become ghosts. The backend works off a GUID system however the frontend doesn't communicate with the backend properly. So when the backend crashes the frontend doesn't know and the servers are unable to restart because the frontend still thinks the server GUID is online.

The only way EA can resolve this is by restarting the backend completely. Another possibility is to wait a while (maybe an hour) and try starting the server then. The last resort would be to change the GUID, however when doing so everyone would have to re-add the server to their favorites.

Other RSP's are reporting that changing the GUID is not helping. The servers still disconnect from the backend and restart.

At this point we just have to wait for EA to fix the backend, even new servers that are put online are not working according to other RSP's.

I don't think it was 99.9% but close.
I checked to see how many games were online around 10 or 11PM last night while Cain's was still Offline and there were just over 400 HC games going. Checking a similar query this morning returned a little over 6000.

I can't remember exactly what the numbers were last night with no filters, but this morning returned just over 10,000. I want to say it was 6000 or 7000 last night just looking for online servers, but I'm not sure on that.
