Map Pack 3 and 4 is out today

OK Map Pack 4 will be out later today. The so called "Map Pack 3" contains the following:

It includes the following two levels:

Laguna Alta, Squadrush - (code name "mp_003sr")
Nelson Bay, Squad Deathmatch - (code name "mp_008sdm")


If you are a player

There are already some servers up & running the new maps. Go look for them in the server browser!


If you are a server administrator

The maps are available to your server once your RSP has performed a configuration change [essentially: added a commandline option].
After that, the server recognizes the new maps in maplist.txt.

Looks like you get to play rush on a map built specifically for armor battles and you also get to watch one noob who can't fly a chopper crash into another noob who can't fly a chopper.

Personally, I miss the hq maps from BF2 in this game. The maps in BFBC2 look all the same. They have no real landmarks. Just boring.
