EA's Idea of 100% Completed

Here's my account having reached 100% goodies this weekend. Well, except for the bugged All Bronze Weapon award that relies on the SPECACT weapons, which aren't normally available on the PC, and the related All Bronze Awards award.

Since I'll get both of them the second a patch is released that removes the SPECACT bug/error, this is the PC version of 100%. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Stupid EA. Maybe VOIP is hard to fix, but something like this should be insanely easy.

They're DLC for the consoles, but haven't been activated that way for the PC. I wouldn't pay for them anyway. Some people have figured out how to open them up, so it's possible to get them on open SPECACT servers, but I've seen conflicting reports and rumors that it may violate EA's ROE. Until they get off their duff and address the fact that it's literally impossible to get distinguished weapons knowledge through normal means on the PC, this is as far as one can go.

The top guys on the stats list have them though, so who knows.

P.S. I'm a completist. I'm one of those guys grinding stuff like RPGs and GTA series to get 100%. I'm forced to get these kind of achievements like a sickness.

Aw you beat me to it. I only have about 200 more shotgun kills to go. The thing is, all my shotgun kills are from the 40mm shotgun. I cannot stand using those shotties. They're so ugly. Especially when overpowering them with slugs. I got sniped with a shotgun across the map.

Also, you aren't 100% done until you got all platinum stars. Just saying.

Yeah...that's not happening.

This compulsion to get all the pretty badges and shiny things really sucks most when playing something mediocre, like this game or CoD: World at War.

And yes, this game is mediocre at least until they a) fix VOIP, and b) fix hit boxes and registration, so this game doesn't feel like the most random thing I've ever played. No other game can one go 30-5 one round and 5-30 the next when their play style is identical.

I applaud you. I just cannot play some weapons, as they are totally ganked. I can understand wanting to "Finish" it out, but I just don't have the heart for it.

Having said that, I rush so much my score is usually bad anyway. Cap or Uncap, There is D&G, running into a hail storm of bullets and Mortar fire.

I try to do the same thing as Rand. Problem is that I usually quit playing the game before I can get them all... :P

It is kinda silly, but working towards medals seems to make playing more worthwhile, like I am working toward a goal, and gives me a reason to use different weapons, etc. It is kinda like playing an RPG and trying to get that next level.
