Graphic problems

I get this random "blink" effect in BC2... never happened when i started playing either. i didn't play for a long time and just started back again the last couple days.

I'll just be running around, shooting, or w\e and the screen will flicker real fast with solid black and it does it pretty often, and it's so fast but can be in intervals, like flash black and back like 5 or 6 times a second or more.

I have tried messing with the settings of the game, and my drivers are up2date.

I still play: TF2, UT2k4, HoN, Global Agenda, PvZ, TL, and a some other random games off an on and don't have a single issue with graphics on any of them.

My card is a GTX 295

any others with this issue, or know how to fix?

Read through this thread. I haven't tried the bloom setting yet but if you do and it works let me know.

Bad Company 2 + 480 SC = Random blackouts?

Bloom = false, and i went a head and set my dx manually to dx10.

I had one blink in like 2 hours of play

That's about .1% of the blinks i was getting before.

I turned off the HBAO in game and it didn't help so I will try to change file later and see if that helps.

I can lie and say i did that on purpose....

I can blame it on the 83 degree temp in this stupid cubicle....

or i can logically think that since i was reading other posts in a different tab, i saw Rand's name and got confused
