Guys, I been having a lot of trouble with ventrilo. Sometimes it works sometimes it dont. When somebody leaves you get a playback of their previous conversation during the previous game. Like a tape delay of what they said. I dont know what the deal is but its very frustrating right now.

Anybody else having problems.

The only time I experienced this problem was with Vista. What OS you using Cobalt?

i was having abit of trouble with vent last night also kept going fuzzy and then good then no sound.... seems to be working fine now though....

Once I got that wierd echo. It happend shortly after I repair tooled Phantom and 2 others in 4 secs. All I heard was Tex is a A@@h@2e...A@@h@2e...

I had this problem before after I installed Win7 and the steps taken at the posted link solved it. You're welcome.

Short story...

1. find three tabs in setup: Voice, Binds, Speech
2. All three have check boxes labelled "Use DirectSound"
3. Check them
4. Enjoy ventrilo
