If I own BC2 what is the best way to get Vietnam!?

I purchased at EA.com because I have a game disk. It's also available via Steam.

In return for your money, they email you the unlock code for content that was downloaded in the latest patch. It took them about 3 hours to enable my code after I paid. Then, I clicked on "Vietnam" on the main BC2 screen to redeem it (after two earlier failed attempts).

I bought BC2 from Gamestop, the preorder from Steam didn't work for me so I just DL from EA Store.

I picked it up tonight. Steam was giving me a hassle because it said I must own another game to buy it (presumably BC2, which I do, obviously). I tried activating my BC2 on Steam. Still couldn't buy it. I tried registering my BC2 on Steam. It said code not valid. I went to EA store, and ordered it, got code. Now I can play.

I've tried registering several games with Steam. I think they have some kind of gremlins in their stuff. Got the same thing you did Skudman with the code not valid. Pfffftttt. I paid for this with good old, soon to not be worth much, American dollars. I should have been able to register the game. Oh well.

Oh, and good to see you back . Will look forward to it. Well maybe not too much because of the knifings i get but you understand.

You talkin bout getting the keycode at the EA store right. Man I got that thing right off. Didnt take no time.

I had bought BC2 through steam so I bought mine through steam. Right click in library> show cd keys. Write down cd key and enter into game....play BC2V easy as pie

Same here. With a few exceptions like HL2 and L4D, I think if you don't buy it through Steam, it won't let you import it into Steam.
