Some might have noticed that I've been giving this game a shot. Bought it when it was dirt cheap over the holidays.

I like that Conquest mode works like Star Wars: Battlefront. Always loved that system.

However, it's a reflex-reliant pseudo-realistic military shooter. I'm terrible at those.

Grenades, tanks, AT mines, scenic tuk-tuk races to capture points, spawning on squad mates during mortar showers! Who needs reflexes?

Take it from a guy who started Vietnam as a Level 2 and is now a Level 24... It is HELL starting so late when everyone else has better weapons, armor and experience, but plug away.

Very true. I was happy if I broke even with kill/death ratio for the first 20 levels or so. And as important as those weapons/armor upgrades is the fact that the game teaches you pretty well how to use cover and work with others if you want to win.

Newbies are handicapped by average to poor weapons, and gear. it DOES get better.

Having a great squad helps ALOT. And being in Vent.
Even the super reflex players get axed with someone being where they didn't expect them.

Some rounds you just KNOW there is a computer glitch, and you have a glowing Target plastered on front and back.

i swear... sometimes i feel like i must have gotten 30 kills in a round and then i look at my score and its 4/25
