I got off I think around 9pm or so.

Yeah I was on as well. The server was quite busy around that time. Died out about 2 in the morning I think.

Around 10ish we dropped off quite a bit.

I joined near that time and It was 18 or 20 peeps. The map was the freaking huge one with the windmills

I was on. It's the wide open one with tanks and choppers, mountains...where you have to move 2,000 yards before you see the enemy. Can't think of the name of it. And, yes, as Mapes says, the big wind farms.

Probably because it's a sniper map. And people looooove to play sniper.

i think it is one of the more popular maps in general. a lost of the servers out there are 24/7 heavy metal. i hate that map too. do not know why it is so popular unless that many people really love playing a sniper.

I think it's safe to say that 50% of the BC2 populace exclusively play as sniper.

+1 on that, and why they like Heavy Metal. If you are not in a tank or chopper, you are dead. Ground troops are fodder on Heavy Metal.

i kinda like heavy metal... i love huge open maps. and i don't snipe either.
