I can see it both ways. Team/squad chat is definitely helpful for teambased play. ON the other hand, it is fun to just chat with all of the other CLRs on the server, cuss them when they kill you, laugh when you kill them etc. IMO it is a lot of fun just being able to talk to all of the regulars, but it is not really conducive to good gameplay.

"We come for the games, and stay for the people"...I say allchat!!!...and maybe one channel for the hardcore objective based folks.
Or, more specifically, can't folks already go to certain channels if they so choose? Maybe the chatty ones (myself) can stay in the main and the goal oriented can tell their squad to go into channel-of-their-choice.

I want TS to take the place of the in-game VOIP, and I wish to attract and encourage others to use it for this purpose.
That is my goal. You all also know I do NOT want TS to take the place of in-game text and chat particularly to those who are new to our Community. I don;t want a situation where our folks on TS are playing one game and having one experience while others are not having as much fun here.
I've been Alpha and will be Beta testing the Delta Force game. It's been really getting good reviews! Definitely a good Battlefield feel to it like the...
