Love the Lair, the game is fun, but... snipers

these damn sniper fests are really killing it for me. I know most of you are used to it (or have moved on), I just picked up the game a month ago. Getting on these teams where my minimap shows 80% of the team camping around a single point, most of them snipers, is just aggravating.

So I have fun making my way to the enemy spawn and C4-ing their vehicles, unless I see other team members are actually trying to rush and capture, then i'll join in.

On a related note, nothing sweeter than seeing a chopper take off with 2 people, detonate the C4, and then notice that you just killed 2 CLRs... and the cherry is that one of them is Jeffro

Hearing Jeffro Scream is always a hoot.

It's a bit of a pain, but once your behind the enemy snipers, pull out the knife and have some FUN !!!

There is some tricks to somewhat avoid being sniped, not fool proof, but helps. Taking a trike to the back of whatever flag they are camping is a quick way to get amongst them if you can survive the run.

There are certain maps that just lead to snipefests. Typically If I'm not feeling like dealing with a team full of snipers, on either side, I'll disconnect for 20 minutes and get some work done around the house. It sucks doing it but it preserves your sanity!

I just go sniper hunting or turn to counter sniping the snipers.
I love getting behind groups of snipers. Most never unscope and stay in the same place the whole time they are alive. The hard ones move after each kill and are always unscoping and looking around.
Then other day I drove a jeep up beside a sniper, got out, ran around to the other side and then knifed him. He never looked around.

Arica harbor needs to take the place of the Farm map. Not near the snipers in there and they are easier to kill. Conquest on Arica harbor is good. Just like Oasis.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that is annoyed with, and frequently leaves during the snipe-fests. Two worst maps are usually Harvest (Farm map) and Heavy Metal.

Other maps are usually tolerable due to cover and balance.

I just get bored. Seems there is usually only 7 people doing something on each team. The rest...idk what they do.

It is what it is. Snipers have been like this for some time. When I get tired of it, I leave. Unless the guns are nerfed or the class is restricted, nothing will change. But seeing how many people play as Recon, either of those actions may cause Kleenex stock to rise.

C4ing opfor uncaps is less cool than sniping, Imo.

This is why I promote a Vanilla rush server = much better than HC Conquest.

Sniping is only 1 shot with headshots.... shotguns are amazing..... knifing is easy

I hate sniping but I find myself playing it just to counter the other snipers.

Yeah someone was saying we should get Arica Harbor as a map, but I played on a server with that map. Nothing and I mean nothing, but snipers camping the uncap waiting for you to get out of spawn so they can snipe you. Got extremely boring. I don't understand sniping at all. You sit in a position not moving for about 5 minutes or more waiting on someone to show up so you can shoot them.

You don't get the excitement of explosions going off around you, tanks coming up on you and just wreaking havoc. I'd say we start darting the snipers on our teams. lol

Snipers are one of the main reason I stopped playing last year. I was also real busy with other RL things at the time with not much time to play... but when I did play I'd just get too annoyed so gave it up.

rofl... so s'all good when your on the same team, spawning on the uncap guy, stealing vehicles...but when your on the enemy team and you go boom, then it's not cool. Gotcha.
