Love the Lair, the game is fun, but... snipers

I just go sniper hunting or turn to counter sniping the snipers.
I love getting behind groups of snipers. Most never unscope and stay in the same place the whole time they are alive. The hard ones move after each kill and are always unscoping and looking around.
Then other day I drove a jeep up beside a sniper, got out, ran around to the other side and then knifed him. He never looked around.

Heres what I do:
Any item you have(engis cant really do this) such as ammo, health or a motion ball, you toss it at their head. Your character usually says something in the opposite language, and it nudges them. Then you knife them. Usually they never notice.

Im like most folks, I silently rage to myself after running 300 meters to finally arrive at a flag only to be met with a sniper round coming from wherever. BUT I dont cry and I dont complain because who am I to judge how someone else enjoys this game? If they enjoy playing that class more power to them, now and again I enjoy it as well. So personally I think limiting snipers is the wrong thing to do.

Yea, Legion, you are correct on one side of the coin. But I think those that think this way are forgetting also that whats so called fun for them is also not fun for others.

So my question is, are we supposed to just suck it up and not have fun at the expense of others that are. I understand your premise. And I agree we shouldn't think ill of them because thats what they choose to do.

But on the other hand, I really believe with the majority on here, that snipers on certain maps are no fun for those that are trying to take objectives and be productive and get in close to try and defend and cap.

So my question again. Are we just supposed to shirk it off and continue to loathe the class and not have fun. Are we the ones who shouldn't have fun so they can. Cause I can tell you with all frankness, I dont like playin with snipers at all. No matter if they are defending or what, I really dont care. I dont like em.

It aint fun trying to do your job as an Eng. only to almost get there to help and get picked of by a guy who could care less if he wins or loses. To him its all about being the L33t high score on his team.

I just want to get this cleared up, as to who gets to pick and choose who has fun and who doesnt.

Not singling you out Legion by no means, because your rage is shared by others. And in my book rage aint fun.

I dont think I am alone feeling this way. Others just dont say much. But I dont think they are having fun either. But we keep on playing because of friendships that we have. Yes I came for the games , but I've stayed because of the people.

It would be nice if we could get some of the more compact, infantry focused maps. I can deal with the open, sniper maps when they are broken up by the other types.
