Hey June, what was that video editing software that you told me about the other day? I don't mind Windows Movie Maker, but I think it's going to limit me on some stuff that I want to do.

I'm still messing around with it. This is my first time ever editing clips which is why it's taking me forever to get it done haha. That and my job is making me work stupid hours.

It was Virtual Dub. While it's a video editor it's main feature and use is encoding.

You need some software that allow you to add 'flair' to your work. I think DrBox used Adobe software, maybe After Effects.

Ps, watch his video if you haven't already and are looking for a little inspiration. It really is good.

Just watched it myself in fact. Was COD4 really that fast paced? lol. BC2 really does slow things down.

Song Vegas 9 - When previewing clips, you can't listen to the sound. Can't do anything special with it apart from tilting the video (Who uses GreenScreen on games?). So I stopped using it.

After Effects - Costs a million and once I "got" it, it was one of those programs that you need to watch a video tutorial for you to make a 2 second clip. That's another no.

Virtual Dub - If I recall correctly, it's only to encode your DVDs and videos to make them watchable (Compressing Fraps files into watchable videos) on PC, i.e. how pirates encode all their releases.

Windows Movie Maker - Best one for beginners. I loved using it.

I hate plastering my video anywhere but this was a clip that I made with Vista's movie maker back when Vista was cool. It's all about the footage.

ha ha trying to knife phantom while hopping was a chore sometimes. But I got it down. My odds were at the time, he'll hop to the left or to the right

Watching that clip bring memories running around knifing with the guys.

Lol, awesome vids, Niles (and lol at the knifing)! High quality too...does the fraps slow things down for you?

Honestly no. It does if I get too far ahead of myself, but normally it stays around 60 FPS. Fraps is awesome! I'm going to post on my facebook the video with music and everything.

I would've had more footage in there, but I didn't have enough cool stuff. I need to get better at the game first lol
