Setting up punkbuster

I removed PB because it had some Vista file on there causing a BSOD. I downloaded the BP updater but it does not seem to be installing correctly, when I reboot there are no PB services running. I went to the EB site I cou;d only find the updater which isn't working correctly. Does anyone have a link or advice?

As I typed the post I realized that I needed a PBsvc file which seems to be at another location, I found it and have been on the server for a few minutes without being kicked.

It's funny but it aint funny. Everyone that has ever played a game with PB has had issues at some time or another. PB can be fickle because it monitors different things. If one aint just right it calls foul and kicks you.

I got a global ban on Cod4 because of an issue that I never even resolved. Only thing I could figure out was I transferred a lot of files pertaining to Cod from my game in Thailand at the time. Appealed my case at PB but they said they couldnt verify exactly what caused it and wouldnt reinstate me. So I had to buy another copy.

If it aint just right. It makes you want to cry sometimes. But I'm glad you are on the verge of figuring it out.
