I aint never steered you wrong on map selection, and I never will.

Me, Furry and Skud spend a lot of time in there, so we get a good feel for what's going on. And like i said earlier, snipers love Harvest. Long distance shooting and hard to root out makes for a sniperfest beyond what most can handle.

If you played that map as much as we have and are trying to do your job, say killin tanks. You cant get much done sometimes cause you dont last long. One other item is, when you're waiting for the spawn countdown, the game has a glitch to where it sometimes spawns you in your starting uncap for no reason. Add that to the fact that there are no vehicles left and you have to hump it over to the last objective on the other side of the map to try and get in the fight.

But oh wait, after all that running, you almost get there and BLAM.. sniper been targeting you for the last 100m and you never made it.

It makes for some frustrating times. Play it for as long as we have and try and take bases and you'll understand.

But I'll never steer you wrong.

Cobalt, I actually like Harvest. Yes there are snipers but there are enough vehicles to get up into them, especially those jeeps and quads, they'll make it up any of the sniper hills no problem and it then takes thirty seconds to clean them out. With Laguna, on the other hand, the sniper spots are loaded with rocks and hiding, so even if it had more vehicles you couldn't do much with them if the other team is camped. They'll camp out points like B, wide open, high points and cover all around, and you will not be able to take it.

Regardless, I will play whatever, though again today I might have some things keeping me busy for a chunk.

I agree with Skud on Harvest.

You be quiet Duke, the only reason you like that map is because of the tanks. If you played Eng, the whole map like me. You wouldnt like it either.

Im just glad Arica is in there. I will take those beatings from the snipers, just give me a chance to be all in their face with some of the closer stuff.

As for the game emptying, it has happened at random times. There have also been a lot of blowout/no contest type games. I join a team that loses 156-0 then we win next game 170-0....

Either you way, being in a decent squad and having some good people to play against are what make it fun. Had lot of fun going against cobalt, minerva, ba, and mapes.

I'm using the mapzone plugin and I won;t allow snipers sitting near their bases to snipe without dying, that will tone down the snipers particularly on the US hill.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
