and its not public, this is a PRIVATE invitation event.
i checked their forums and there is only about 280 people in the bf3 alpha testers.
i can tell u tho.. theres alot of people having nvidia vcards issues :].. and none ati in the alphas..
most peopel are running high end cpus i525k,i726k, and having alot of slugish fps. im running a quad core amd 2.1ghz (oc'd 2.3ghz, im a laptop currently). and running at steady 45fps. Havent tried my PC yet.Comment

the only reason they release the beta isn't for you to get good its so you point out the bugs so every bug you find email them about it in bf3 section so they know that way it wont be around when the full version is finished and released
