Help!! Video Card Probs...

This morning my BC2 is unplayable..

Horrible video problems, black squares weird triangles, cannot see chat, cannot see the scoreboard...

I have never seen anything like this..

I tried to install the latest stable release of video drivers and no change.

the only thing affected is BC2 everything else is fine..

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling video drivers several times now with no change.

Sounds like your video card could be dying. Have you tried any other games to see if they do the same thing?

Agreed sounds like a video card. Just happened to 1 of 2 of my cards not too long ago. If you are running in SLI try disconnecting 1 of your cards.

dowload riva tuner and turn you fan speed up your card is to hot

I tried making the fan run as fast as it would and while it did lower the temp from 87C to 73C I still have the bad video glitches...

wow that pretty bad, definitely video card problem...try your previous card back on and check if your new card causing the problem.

I been having problems that last 2 weeks with the screen going black but the player icons and text is still in blue and on screen.

Dont know what the heck that is. Been thinking about reinstalling the game. It's been a while. I thought it was a heating issue, but it does it whether I OC it or not.

make a list of everything u have tried so far...like
reinstalling bfbc2
turning fan speed higher
changing the settings.ini file in C:/Users/*YourUsername*/Documents/BFBC2/
(open with notepad, turn bloom and HBAO to false, turn dx version to the max ur graphics supports. dont leave it at auto.)

also, it would help a lot if u actually gave us the name of the graphics card you have.

Just got it last week.

I have already tried everything you listed.

I just pulled the card and put my old one back in and it works perfectly, although much slower...

I'm going to simply return this card and get a new one ASAP...

Kinda bogus that you got a card that died so quickly. They should RMA it without issue.
