Just took some time to browse your stats Apache. Neither of us have the others tags. For all the time you play as engineer, you need to start using the anti-tank mines --> they rock! Load them up with the "extra C4/mine and improved demolitions/explosive" options at the map start...deploy all of them (6, I think) in high traffic areas, on rocks and in water. Then switch back to RPG/CG/AT4 and other options at the next spawn. Mines stay in place. After some good kills, rinse and repeat .

Thanks for the tip. I did not think about doing that. I like having rockets for armor........and the occasional pesky infantry.

I didnt realize mines stay out after you swap kits too. Ofcourse i never use mines which is probably why i didnt know that.

I was in till the team I was on was making me cry. I was in the dubs, and not a single person on my team had more than 5 kills.

Can't stand that. No matter how good you are, you can't win a round alone.


Edit:

On Engineers, get the 6x mines perk, and place two in each spot. Two will kill a tank/apc in one swoop. Place the 1x mines in areas where FMV's typically travel.


There was a point in time where I had all the nasty little tricks I use typed up in a txt file. I'll ask Farebane if he still has it. Includes small tricks like blowing up the ground next to a rock so you sink further into the ground - giving you more cover.

Yep, and once you've deployed the entire six, any mine deployed after that makes your oldest/first deployed mine dissappear. Regardless of your death, kit, and respawn, the mines stay in place and active until detonated by enemy vehicle or friend/foe activation through grenades/C4/mortars/etc (fill in mine clearing method here).
